Secaucus high school students and staff will celebrate Halloween on Monday Oct.31. Everyone is encouraged to dress up as their favorite person in sports,history,etc. Cost $2.00. No masks are permitted or any profane or insulting costume that may offend anyone's ethnicity,religion or gender. All students are encouraged to bring in boxed or canned food for our annual holiday food drive to replenish the food kitchen for the holidays.

Please come join us at our annual Veteran's Day assembly on Monday Nov.14,2016 at 1:00 pm.All Secaucus veterans and their families are invited to attend.

Please join our NHS and the ATHS by bringing in canned or boxed food goods to school for our annual food drive, Help us help others have a nice meal for Thanksgiving,Hanukkah,Christmas, and New Years. Secaucus high school will host its annual OPEN HOUSE for all 6th,7th, and 8th graders interested in going to Secaucus High School, on Monday Oct.24 at 7:00 pm.in the Arthur F. Couch Performing Arts Center. Come see why it is in the TOP 100 high schools of NJ.

Dr. Bob's prescription for the month

High School English teacher Janine D'Aurizio paired a nonfiction literary selection with a cross-curricular real-life science application. As related to the themes in the short story "The Necklace," students had to conduct scientific research and experiments to determine which necklace was​ made of​
real diamonds and which one was not. They were encouraged to study the ​necklaces
and make a determination about ​the authenticity of the stones
. After they made their decision, they had to use three pieces of evidence to support their claim. Many students were surprised to find that their findings were correct.

Oct.18 College Fair night !! Secaucus High School will host its annual College Fair Night on Tuesday Oct.18 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Over 50 colleges/universities will be in attendance.This event will be held in the new Patriot Dining Hall. All students and parents/guardians are invited to attend.
