Principal's November Newsletter !! Happy November Everyone !! Can you believe we are in the holiday season of Thanksgiving? The calendar and days are moving by swiftly and yet filled with many wonderful monthly activities . All of these coupled, with interest and support, is creating a time capsule of great lasting memories and building a strong solid high school. Our three new classrooms are complete and teachers are ready to go with instruction. The media center is almost near completion as well as the new blue gym. the red gym is now hosting our volleyball games and everyone loves it. We are very grateful to everyone who made this all possible. Throughout this season of Thanksgiving we have many wonderful things planned. The students and staff will be collecting canned and boxed food products for the people in need so they have a bountiful holiday. So please send in your home goods to school. We are very appreciative of everyone's efforts to help others. On Nov. 1 the JSA will host a Forum for Board of Ed candidates running for office on Nov.8. It will be held at 7:00 pm. in the PAC The marching band clothing drive begins on Nov.2. You may bring the clothes to the PAC lower lobby on Nov.2,14,and 16. We will be off from school during the week of Nov,7-Nov.11. We return to class on Nov.14. The Veterans program will be held to honor local veterans on Monday Nov.14 at 1:00 p.m in the PAC. All are invited to attend. Spirit week kicks off on Nov.15 with the VOICE competition. This is a first for us and there is an extraordinary amount of talent found here at the high school. The annual Lip Sync contest is Monday Nov.21 at 7:00 pm. in the PAC. This is our evening to kick off the holiday season with the annual lighting of our Christmas Trees in the PAC. Report cards go home Nov.21. If you need to meet with your child's teacher please call the guidance dept to set up an appointment. Thursday Nov.24 . Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving to all of you. May your day be filled with family/friend good times and a nice meal to show thanks for what we receive each day.We are truly thankful for you and your children. Thank you for trusting them under our care to educate them. As you know we are in the top 100 high schools in NJ. All of you had a part in this.After all you are the children's very first teachers, instilling in them good study habits as well as build up their self esteem. May the joy of Thanksgiving be in your hearts everyday !! My thoughts,prayers and good wishes are for all of you always.
