Kerry Mitchell is Nominated for the I Am Sport Award

Senior student/athlete Kerry Mitchell has been nominated for the I Am Sport Award. The award will be given to a student athlete who is committed to giving back to children in his/her community. The three nominees who garner the highest number of votes will be invited to attend the northjersey.com sports awards ceremony, where the winner will be announced. Below is the link for the contest:
"Kerry Mitchell is the epitome of the I AM SPORT Award. He is the president of the Student Government Executive Organization running numerous clothing drives and raising money for young children in the community with Autism and other health related issues. As a student/athlete he is in four honor society's and is in charge of most school events. He has run many community book & toy drive's for children and families in need. When he is not on the basketball court or helping others Kerry internships for 2 hours a day 5 times per week at Sports Care Physical Therapy in Union City"
