Educational Services Professional of the Year !!

Congratulations to Ms. Helen Bacigalupo on being selected as the Educational Services Professional of the Year award for Secaucus High School.I am a graduate of Saint Peter’s College with a degree in psychology. She attended New Jersey City University where she has a master’s degree in counseling. She also attended Saint Peter’s University for a supervisor’s certificate.

She has been an educator for the past thirty nine years and began my career teaching social studies at the Academy of Saint Aloysius in Jersey City. In 1984, She transitioned into guidance and served as both a counselor and as the Director of Guidance. She spent her career as a counselor in Hudson County. She is a member of the Hudson County Personnel and Guidance Association and have served as a past president of that organization. In 1998, she was the recipient of the Hudson County Counselor of the County Award.

In the fall of 2006, she was hired by the Secaucus School district to work in the high school as a counselor. Here she counsels grades 9-12 and serves as an advisor to the National Honor Society.
