NEHS Students Go to Clarendon Elementary on National Read Across America Day

In celebration of the National Read Across America Day the National English Honor Society (NEHS) students went to Clarendon Elementary school to read to students from Kindergarten through fifth grade. The NEHS students hoped to spark and kindle a love of reading in their younger peers by reading aloud to them and sharing their own love of literature. On Read Across America Day, we recognize the value of literacy to the members of our community. We celebrate the stories that inspire our students to dream big, to expand the limits of their understanding, and to explore diverse perspectives and cultures through the eyes of others.
