Important Message from Jennifer Montesano, Superintendent of Schools:
At 2:00pm on October 23rd, a positive case of COVID-19 was reported at Secaucus High School.
As we conduct our investigation and contact tracing procedures, to ensure all precautionary measures and staff complete quarantining, instruction will be conducted virtually for all students in both Secaucus Middle and Secaucus High School for next week, October 26th-October 30th in order for our district to sanitize and disinfect the school as per our Road Back Plan, as well as allow the Health Department to conduct their processes and procedures.
Anyone who has been determined to be in direct contact with the individual will be contacted directly by us or the health department as soon as possible. They will be provided guidance regarding the need to quarantine and other precautionary measures.
The district will continue to coordinate closely with public health officials and follow Centers for Disease Control, state, and local health department guidance in order to ensure the health and safety of all members of our community.
